East-West Gateway Council of Governments
Designated by state and federal agencies as the metropolitan planning organization for the bi-state region, the East-West Gateway Council of Governments has responsibility for selecting public transit projects in the region that will receive federal funds. Learn more at www.ewgateway.org.
Madison County Transit
Madison County Transit (MCT) provides public transit service to Madison County, IL. Many of MCT's bus routes connect with MetroBus and MetroLink in downtown St. Louis, MO and in East St. Louis and Belleville, IL. Find out more about their services and their bike trail network at www.mct.org.

St. Charles Area Transit

St. Clair County Transit District
The St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD) was created in 1981 under the Illinois Mass Transit District Act. SCCTD does not operate any buses directly, but has executed contract with others, including Metro Transit, to provide transportation for 15 townships in St. Clair county that make up the district.
