Real Estate

Metro's Real Estate Department is responsible for managing all of Metro's real property assets, including the MetroLink right-of-way, bus transfer centers, and facility properties. The Real Estate Department also acquires property when needed for Metro projects or expansions, negotiates and administers all leases, licenses, and easements, and manages Metro's vending program.

Our goal is to encourage higher-density transit-oriented development around MetroLink Stations and Metro Bus Transfer Centers, and to manage Metro's real property assets to ensure the maximum benefit for the transit system and its users.
