9 New MetroLink Stations
3 New MetroBus Transfer Centers
More Service
More Connections
More Convenience
Metro is embarking upon one of the most significant transit service expansions in our history with the opening of the new Shrewsbury Branch, with new light rail service between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station and the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne-I-44 MetroLink Station in Shrewsbury. This highly anticipated project will bring light rail service and nine new MetroLink Stations to the Central Corridor of St. Louis City and County. The new stations add MetroLink service to Washington University as well as the communities of University City, Clayton, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Maplewood, and Shrewsbury! Plus, Metro now offers later night and earlier morning service on MetroLink.
But this expansion includes much more than the MetroLink extension to Shrewsbury:
Use TripFinder, Metro’s new online tool that allows you to map a route to or from anywhere in the Metro service area. You can choose from the fastest route, the most direct route, the route with the least walking distance or fewest transfers. You can specify when you want to leave – or when you want to arrive. And you can search by street address, intersection, or many area landmarks (Arch, Lambert International airport, shopping malls, and many more places). Of course, TripFinder is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for all your trip planning needs.
We look forward to seeing you on board MetroBus and MetroLink!
01 WUSTL Gold Line
This route replaces the 93 Lindell as it operated between Kingshighway and Clayton via Waterman, Pershing, and Wydown. A branch of the route replaces the 58 Clayton Ballas and the 97 Delmar Forsyth on Forsyth between Skinker and the City of Clayton.
This new route operates along McPherson and Euclid to the Central West End transfer center adjacent to the CWE MetroLink station. It replaces the Washington University Gold Line for Washington University students and employees.
02 WUSTL Red Line
This route replaces the 64 Lucas Hunt along Ferguson in Pagedale. It replaces Washington University’s Red Line along Clayton Road and in the DeMun neighborhood to the Galleria, Brentwood Promenade, and Maplewood Commons. It replaces Washington University’s Blue Line serving the North Campus and the Delmar MetroLink station to the Mallinckrodt Center on the Danforth Campus of Washington University.
The new route serves the Rock Road station, the Delmar station, Skinker station, Richmond Heights station and the Brentwood I-64 station on MetroLink as well.
03 Forest Park Circulator
This is a summer seasonal shuttle route serving the major institutions within Forest Park. This route operates every 15 minutes, seven days a week between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. The Missouri History Museum, Saint Louis Art Museum and the Saint Louis Zoo are served all year by the 90 Hampton. The 59 Kirkwood Shaw serves the Saint Louis Science Center.
04 Natural Bridge
This route operates without change between the North Hanley MetroLink station and Jefferson Ave. at Olive. At this intersection, the new route is via Olive, Ewing and Market past A. G. Edwards. This deviation replaces service from the former 52 Clayton South County on Market from Ewing to Jefferson.
The revised 04 Natural Bridge also operates via 14th Street and Spruce from Market to Tucker in both directions. This new routing provides service to the Civic Center MetroLink station and the Federal Building.
08 Bates
The 08 Bates replaces the 90 Hampton south of the Hampton MetroBus Center at Gravois and provides a new MetroLink connection at the Shrewsbury–Lansdowne I-44 station. The following streets are served: Jamieson, Germania, Morganford, Bates, S. Grand, Loughborough, Broadway and Marseau. The route operates seven a days a week, including nights. From Germania and Morganford, the route operates an alternating loop.
10 Gravois
The Watson Road branch of the 10 Gravois has been eliminated. However, peak-hour-only service is operated on Heege Rd. between Laclede Station Rd. and Gravois. In downtown, the route is operated inbound to Market on 14th Street instead of Clark.
11 Chippewa
This route diverts from Watson via River Des Peres to serve the Shrewsbury–Lansdowne I-44 MetroLink station. This route no longer serves Sunset Hills Plaza via Rott, Geyer, and Watson. It has been extended north on Lindbergh and west on Big Bend to serve Meramec Community College in Kirkwood. Service to the corner of Lindbergh and Rott is now provided on the 49 Lindbergh and the new 59 Shaw Kirkwood.
13 Union Shaw
This route no longer operates on Waterman between Union and Kingshighway. It now operates via Union to Lindell to W. Pine to Kingshighway. The route operates via Barnes Plaza Drive, Clayton and Taylor to the new Central West End MetroBus Transfer Center.
This route no longer operates south via Taylor to the Shaw neighborhood. Instead it replaces the service that was operated by the 52 Clayton South County along Forest Park, Vandeventer and Lindell to Grand. From Grand and Lindell the route operates south via Grand to Park, Park to 39th to Shaw, Tower Grove to Magnolia to Thurman. This segment of the 13 replaces service operated in part by the 80 Southampton and the 13 Union Botanical Garden. Service to the Missouri Botanical Garden is provided on the revised 93 Midtown South County.
15 Hodiamont
The 15 Hodiamont no longer operates downtown. This segment has been replaced seven days a week by the 57 Manchester. The eastern terminus of the 15 Hodiamont is the Metro Main Shop at Compton and Spruce. Service on this route operates hourly on weekdays only.
16 City Limits
This route originates on the north end at the Riverview–Hall MetroBus Transfer Center. During the peak hours the route operates from the Riverview–Hall MetroBus Transfer Center to Manchester. Until the transit loop at the Manchester station is completed, the southern end of the route will be the Metro Brentwood Garage near Manchester and Brentwood Blvd.
Midday frequency south of the Delmar station is hourly. Service from the Delmar MetroLink station north is every 30 minutes all day.
17 Oakville
This new route, operating Monday through Saturday, serves Oakville, Lemay, Mehlville, Afton, and Shrewsbury to the new Shrewsbury–Lansdowne I-44 MetroLink station. The route serves South County Mall, McKenzie Point, Union Road, Sappington Barracks, Telegraph and McKenzie.
18 Taylor
The 18 Taylor serves the new Central West End MetroBus Transfer Center. While there are revised times, the route does not change otherwise.
27 North County Shuttle
The 27 North County Shuttle has been extended to the Riverview–Hall MetroBus Transfer Center. Peak hour frequency between Florissant Valley Community College and the Riverview–Hall MetroBus Center is every 30 minutes, replacing service previously provided along this route by the 41 Northside Express.
30 Soulard
This route now also serves the Maplewood–Manchester MetroLink station on Manchester near Laclede Station Rd. This route has two minor route changes. Downtown, the route operates north via 4th to Washington past the Convention Center MetroLink station. Southbound it operates east via Washington and south on Broadway. The route no longer operates on 7th or 8th past the Stadium MetroLink station. This change was made to avoid baseball game detours when 7th Street is closed. It also provides more service for the major downtown hotels along 4th and Broadway to and from America’s Center. The second route change includes routing via 2nd and Utah past the Defense Mapping Agency in both east and westbound directions.
32 Wellston-ML King
This route has no route changes, but there is a revised bus schedule.
33 Dorsett Lackland
There are no route changes, but there are minor time changes.
34 Earth City
There are minor time changes to coordinate with MetroLink service.
36 Spanish Lake
The 36 Spanish Lake has been extended south to the new Riverview-Hall MetroBus Transfer Center via Bellefontaine and Riverview to Hall St. There have been time changes to improve schedule connectivity at the Riverview-Hall MetroBus Transfer Center.
40 Broadway
There have been two changes on the 40 Broadway. Downtown, the northbound route passes the Convention Center MetroLink station via Market, 7th, Washington back to 4th Street. Southbound the route reverses, but uses 8th St. between Washington and Market. These changes permit direct connection to a MetroLink station. The northern terminus of the route is the new Riverview-Hall MetroBus Transfer Center. There is no direct service into Jennings on this route.
41 Lee
The north end of the route terminates at the Riverview–Hall MetroBus Transfer Center rather than at Jennings and Halls Ferry. In downtown, the route loops via Market, 4th St., Washington, replacing the summer routing to the 14th & Spruce MetroBus Transfer Center caused by the closing of River Roads.
42 Sarah
At the southern end of this route, instead of terminating at the Metro Main Shop, the 42 Sarah loops past the Main Shop after stopping at the Grand MetroLink station on Scott. The permanent route operates north on Compton, west on Forest Park to north on Sarah before proceeding north on the regular route. This change creates a one-way loop at the southern end route making it more effective for passengers who board south of Forest Park along Sarah or Chouteau. While the Compton Bridge is closed for reconstruction, the route will operate to the Metro Main Shop and return to Vandeventer past the Grand MetroLink station.
45 Hazelwood Ferguson
Service along Lindbergh past the Ford Motor Plant between Dunn Road and McDonnell Boulevard has been eliminated, but service remains on this segment on the 66 Clayton Airport. The 66 Clayton Airport serves Lambert International Airport (with a walking connection to MetroLink) and connects with MetroLink in downtown Clayton. The change allows the 45 Hazelwood to serve McDonnell Boulevard west of Campus Parkway at all times. It operates via Howdershell, Dunn Road and Lynhaven back to Lindbergh.
46 Tesson Ferry
The 46 Tesson Ferry replaces service previously provided on the 47 Cross County south of Laclede Station and Murdoch. 47 Hanley Rd.

Service along Brentwood, Eager Rd. and Hanley Rd. provided by the 47 Cross County has been replaced by the new 1 WUSTL Gold Line. Service on Folk and Big Bend is provided by the revised 16 City Limits and the new 56 Kirkwood Webster Shuttle. No service is provided on Big Bend between Laclede Station Road and Sunnen Drive.
49 Lindbergh
There are two route modifications to the 49 Lindbergh. Service between the Ballas MetroBus Transfer Center and Manchester via Ballas Rd. has been rerouted to use Ballas, Clayton, and Des Peres Road to Manchester. This improves the frequency along Des Peres Rd., where service on the 57 Manchester has been removed. The 57 Manchester operated only hourly to Ballas, whereas the 49 Lindbergh operates every 30 minutes to and from the Ballas MetroBus Transfer Center during the peak hours and hourly during midday. Secondly, this route no longer operates on Lindbergh Blvd. between Olive Blvd. and Schuetz Rd. Instead it operates via Lindbergh onto Olive, Old Olive, Guelbreth to Schuetz and back onto Lindbergh. This change allows safer transferring to the 91 Olive and 94 Page – Schuetz-Baur branch.
56 Kirkwood Webster
This new route replaces service previously provided in Kirkwood and Webster on the 11X Shrewsbury Express and 92 Lindenwood. The route also replaces service on Laclede Station Rd. and on Big Bend north of Sunnen Dr. now operated the 47 Cross County. The 56 Kirkwood Webster Shuttle provides a connection to MetroLink at the Sunnen and ultimately the Maplewood–Manchester stations. Because the Maplewood–Manchester station bus loop is not complete, the northern terminus of this route will be Maplewood Commons at Bruno and Hanley Road. From Sunnen Drive and Big Bend, the route operates north on Big Bend, west on Folk to Hanley Rd. to Bruno. Weekend service and evening service is provided on this route. Weekend service is also offered to the St. Louis County Museum of Transportation on this route.
57 Manchester
This route has been extended to downtown St. Louis via Chouteau. Until the bridge at Chouteau and Vandeventer is open, this route will operate past the Grand MetroLink station on the Grand Bridge. When the new bridge is opened, the route will operate direct via Chouteau to 14th Street without a connection to the Grand MetroLink station. This route no longer serves the Ballas MetroBus Transfer Center and no longer operates to Ellisville. Service west of Ballas Road is provided on the new 58 Ellisville, which serves the Ballas MetroBus Transfer Center with an express connection to MetroLink at the Brentwood I-64 station. Service on Des Peres Rd., previously provided on the 57 Manchester, is provided on the revised 49 Lindbergh. West County Mall is served only on eastbound trips. Westbound 57 Manchester operates west past I-270 and loops back eastbound via Movie Drive to Manchester Rd.
58 Ellisville-Chesterfield
This route replaces the service provided on the 57 Manchester west of I-270. The western terminus of this route is at Wildwood Town Centre rather than Ellisville Town Center. The 58 Chesterfield replaces service operated by the 58 Clayton Ballas. The 58 Ellisville–Chesterfield provides a connection with MetroLink at the Brentwood I-64 station and operates express to the Ballas MetroBus Transfer Center via I-64. Service operated from the Forest Park–DeBaliviere MetroLink station through Forest Park, and along Forsyth and Brentwood Blvd. has been eliminated on this route. MetroLink service and the #1 WUSTL Gold replaces this service on Forsyth.

At the Central West End MetroLink station, the route operates south to the Shaw neighborhood via Taylor, Chouteau, Tower Grove, Shaw and south on 39th to Shenandoah to Thurman.
60 Midland
The 60 Midland has two route changes. First, it has been rerouted via Midland to Delmar rather than Midland to Olive to Skinker. Second, the route has been modified to connect with MetroLink at the University City–Big Bend station and terminate at Washington University’s Mallinckrodt Center instead of at the Delmar MetroLink station.
61 Chambers
The 61 Chambers now terminates on the east end at the Riverview–Hall MetroBus Transfer Center rather than at River Roads. Service on Saturday is improved in frequency from every 90 minutes to every 60 minutes.
64 Lucus Hunt

Finally, additional service has been added on the 90 Hampton to serve the Forest Park Community College. This branch of the 90 Hampton also serves the Central West End MetroBus Transfer Center.

At Kingshighway, the route operates south via Kingshighway to Forest Park to the Central West End MetroBus Transfer Center. South of the Central West End, this route generally follows the routing of the 80 Southampton and 92 Lindenwood and terminates at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 MetroLink station.
