Current Business Opportunities

Metro's Board of Commissioners approved a modification to the Agency's existing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) policy so that the pool of Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) firms available for contracting purposes could be expanded. The M/WBE program was intended to increase the pool of available firms for the Cross County MetroLink Extension project. Once complete, Metro will not administer an M/WBE program. However, Metro will continue to administer the existing DBE program.

The Cross County MetroLink extension presents an immediate opportunity to increase the Agency's utilization of MBE/WBE firms.
