Live music will fill the air around St. Louis this Sunday, October, 21, 2012 as the Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis Marathon and Half Marathon Series comes back to town. The second annual event will have a major impact on Missouri MetroBus routes in downtown St. Louis, midtown St. Louis near the Fox Theatre, and Tower Grove Park area and points in between. The Grand MetroLink Station will be OPEN but will not be served by the #70 Grand MetroBus route Sunday morning. Passengers will need to board buses at the Central West End MetroLink Station from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Since so many streets will be closed to accommodate the runners, 19 MetroBus routes will be rerouted. MetroBus customers should allow extra travel time for their commutes Sunday to allow for the detours. The reroutes are:

#1 Gold Line
#3 Forest Park Trolley
#4 Natural Bridge
#8 Bates Morganford
#10 Gravois-Lindell
#11 Chippewa
#13 Union
#18 Taylor
#30 Soulard
#32 ML King-Chouteau
#40 Broadway
#41 Lee
#42 Sarah
#70 Grand
#74 Florissant
#80 Park Shaw
#94 Page
#95 Kingshighway
#97 Delmar

Specific details and individual maps for each reroute can be found at www.metrostlouis.org in the Rider Alert section. The #99 Downtown Trolley will not be affected during the event.
