MetroLink Work Scheduled for October 9-13
Construction and maintenance work along the light rail system may result in brief delays for Metro transit riders this week.
MetroLink will operate on a single track Monday, October 9, through Friday, October 13, from 8 p.m. to the end of service each night at the Sunnen and Maplewood-Manchester MetroLink Stations to allow crews to perform track maintenance.
- Blue Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of 5 minutes.
- Red Line MetroLink service will not be impacted.
MetroLink will operate on a single track Friday, October 13, from 11:30 p.m. to the end of service at the Union Station and Civic Center MetroLink Stations due to construction work at the Civic Center Transit Center.
- Blue Line and Red Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of 5 minutes.
To accommodate construction work, the walkway between the Civic Center Transit Center and the Gateway Transportation Center on the west side of the MetroLink tracks will be closed from 6 p.m. Friday, October 13, to noon on Sunday, October 15. Metro will operate special shuttles during that time to accommodate passengers traveling between the Civic Center Transit Center and Gateway Transportation Center. MetroBus service at the Civic Center Transit Center will not be impacted by the weekend construction.
