Ride Metro to the Soulard Mardi Gras on February 10

Metro makes it easy for families, parade-goers and revelers to enjoy all of the fun and festivities of the Mardi Gras celebration in Soulard. Metro is offering special shuttle service from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, between the Civic Center Transit Center in downtown St. Louis and the Mardi Gras venue in Soulard. Round-trip passes for the Mardi Gras Shuttles are $6. No other Metro passes or fares are valid for the shuttle.

The special shuttles will depart about every 10 minutes from the north end of the Civic Center Transit Center on Clark Avenue and will drop off and pick up passengers in Soulard in the heart of the Mardi Gras celebration. The $6 round-trip shuttle passes can only be purchased on February 10 at the Civic Center Transit Center.

MetroLink trains will operate every 20 minutes on the Red Line and Blue Line on February 10, with trains arriving and departing every 10 minutes at the Civic Center Transit Center and at all MetroLink stations between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Fairview Heights Stations. MetroLink platforms will be monitored for crowds throughout the day, and extra MetroLink service will be added, as needed. Metro will also have extra personnel and security on the system to assist passengers.

The #20 S. Broadway and #30 Arsenal MetroBus routes will be operating on a reroute on Saturday, February 10, due to Mardi Gras festivities. However, even with the reroutes in place, MetroBus is still a great options for riders looking to enjoy all of the excitement with the #8 Bates-Morganford, #10 Gravois, #20 S. Broadway, #30 Arsenal and #73 Carondelet routes all serving stops near Soulard.

Everyone is asked to leave their backpacks and coolers at home since they will not be allowed at the Soulard Mardi Gras. No alcohol is permitted on Metro property or on MetroLink, MetroBus, or Metro Call‑A‑Ride vehicles, or on the Mardi Gras Shuttles operated by Metro.
