MetroLink Work Scheduled April 10-15

Return to Blog

MetroLink riders should allow extra time for commutes April 10 through April 15 as maintenance work may result in short delays for Red Line and Blue Line passengers as well as train transfers for some Blue Line riders.

During the morning and afternoon on Saturday, April 15, eastbound Blue Line MetroLink service will end at the Emerson Park MetroLink Station, and Blue Line passengers will need to transfer to a Red Line train to continue their eastbound trips.

On Monday through Friday (April 10-14) from 8 p.m. until the end of service, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Sunnen and Maplewood-Manchester MetroLink Stations so crews can perform track maintenance.

On Tuesday (April 11) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Lambert Airport Terminal #2 MetroLink Station so crews can perform maintenance to the overhead catenary system.

On Wednesday and Friday (April 12 & 14) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track at the North Hanley, UMSL North and UMSL South MetroLink Stations so crews can perform maintenance to the overhead catenary system.

On Saturday (April 15) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Washington Park and Fairview Heights MetroLink Stations so crews can perform maintenance to the overhead catenary system.
