Return to Blog

MetroLinkTrainARTRail maintenance work on the MetroLink system may result in short delays for some passengers next week.

To accommodate the crews, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Central West End Station starting at 8 p.m. through the end of service Wednesday and Thursday (Oct. 8 and Oct. 9). During those times, Blue Line trains will only operate between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Station.  Eastbound and westbound Blue Line and Red Line customers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays.

MetroLink will also operate on a single track at the Terminal #2 MetroLink Station at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on Friday (Oct. 10) from 8 p.m. until the end of service and from beginning of service to the end of service on Saturday (Oct. 11) and from the beginning of service until 8 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 12). Westbound Red Line customers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays from the North Hanley MetroLink Station to Terminal #1 MetroLink Station. The Blue Line will not be impacted by this maintenance work.

Updates on MetroLink operations can be found on the Rider Alert section.

Is the work that creates the single-track service still scheduled on the same time-table given the Cardinals’ games tonight and tomorrow?

Good question. We have cancelled regular scheduled track maintenance tonight and tomorrow night.
