MetroLink Work Scheduled September 26-30

Return to Blog

MetroLink Richmond Heights 2MetroLink passengers are encouraged to allow extra time for their commutes in Illinois this week as maintenance work on the MetroLink system may result in delays for some passengers.

To accommodate crews, Red Line MetroLink service will end at the College MetroLink Station, and a Shuttle Train will transport passengers to and from the Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Station during the evenings of September 26 through September 30. MetroLink will also operate on a single track between the College and Shiloh-Scott Stations during the early mornings from September 27 through September 30.

On Monday through Friday (September 26-30) from 8 p.m. until end of service, regular Red Line MetroLink service will end at the College Station. Passengers who normally park at the Shiloh-Scott Station are encouraged to park at the College Station to avoid delays after 8 p.m.

On Tuesday through Friday (September 27-30) from the beginning of service until 5 a.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track between the College and Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Stations.

Apparently there are still delays (Oct 2) on the westbound Scott station. My wife said there was no 4:12pm metrolink train and the 4:32 was 5 min. late. Are there still delays on this leg?
