Ryan Bethke / Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon, 10K and 5K Races take place in St. Louis on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16, and Metro is a great option for you to enjoy all of the races this weekend without worrying about how to navigate around several road closures in midtown, downtown and south St. Louis.

Park at any one of 21 free Metro Park-Ride lots in Missouri or Illinois and take MetroLink to the race. On Saturday, October 15, head to the Civic Center or 8th & Pine MetroLink Stations, which are both just a few blocks away from the 5K starting line at Market and 13th Street. On Sunday, October 16, head to the 8th & Pine MetroLink Station, which is a few blocks northeast of the 10K and Half Marathon starting lines at Market and 10th Street.

To plan your trip to the Rock ‘n’ Roll races this weekend, download the Metro On The Go app to your mobile device to plan your trip, visit Trip Planner online or access transit schedules and maps, or contact Metro Transit Information at 314-231-2345 or 618-271-2345, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MetroBus Reroutes

You many need to allow extra time for your commutes this weekend as several MetroBus routes will need to be rerouted due to road closures for the races on Saturday and Sunday.

Road closures will affect 10 MetroBus routes on Saturday, October 15, and 17 MetroBus routes on Sunday, October 16.

Some of these MetroBus routes will experience substantial detours, so MetroBus passengers are highly encouraged to visit Rider Alerts for more information, or contact Metro Transit Information at 314-231-2345 or 618-271-2345, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
