Take Metro to Watch St. Louis Blues in Stanley Cup Playoffs

Return to Blog

Metro makes it easy to get to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, while avoiding sitting in traffic and finding parking, as hockey fans come to downtown St. Louis to watch the St. Louis Blues take on the Minnesota Wild on Sunday and Wednesday, April 19.

Fans headed to the games at Scottrade Center, pregame rallies and to downtown restaurants are encouraged to park at any of the 21 free Park-Ride lots located at MetroLink stations in both Missouri and Illinois. After purchasing a round-trip MetroLink ticket for $5, take the train to any of the six downtown MetroLink stations. The Civic Center MetroLink Station is located at 14th Street and Spruce Street, just steps away from Scottrade Center.

MetroBus is another good option for getting to downtown St. Louis for playoff hockey action. Fans can ride on one of more than a dozen MetroBus routes to the Union Station MetroLink Station, located just west of the Scottrade Center.

To plan your trip, download the Metro On The Go App or use Trip Planner online.

  1. Jack Pickard says:

How late will the Metro be running Wednesday night? Considering the game starts at 830, will the metro be running later so everyone can get home after the game?

    1. Matthew Hibbard says:

Jack, yes, MetroLink will ensure all fans get home (even if that means extending normal service).
