#48 South Lindbergh MetroBus Route Temporarily Detoured

MetroBus RearThe Missouri Department of Transportation will close a section of Lindbergh Boulevard between Rusty Road and East Concord Road in South St. Louis County for approximately two weeks, starting tonight.

During the closure, the #48 South Lindbergh MetroBus route will be detoured, and MetroBus passengers traveling through the affected area may experience delays of 10 to 15 minutes.

The #48 South Lindbergh will not be able to provide service to four bus stops between Tesson Ferry Road and Lemay Ferry Road. Passengers will need to reach bus stops outside of this area to connect with the #48 South Lindbergh.

Crews are repairing concrete and replacing the driving surface on this section of Lindbergh Blvd.  The road is expected to reopen by Monday, June 29.

#48 South Lindbergh Reroute:

Southbound

The #48 South Lindbergh will travel along its regular route to Tesson Ferry Road, and then turn right on Tesson Ferry, left on I-270 South, exit and left on Lemay Ferry Road, and left on S. County Center Way to resume the regular route.

Northbound

The #48 South Lindbergh will travel along its regular route to South County Mall, and then left on Aisle 112, left on the outer road, right on S. County Center Way, cross Lemay Ferry Road to I-270 North, exit and right on Tesson Ferry Road, and left on Lindbergh to resume the regular route.
