Brentwood Access PROMO

Update: The existing walkway between the Brentwood I-64 Station and the Dierbergs Market at Brentwood Pointe retail center has reopened.

Construction work for a new pedestrian access at the Brentwood I-64 MetroLink Station will require the temporary closure tomorrow, August 13, of the existing walkway between the Brentwood I-64 Station and the Dierbergs Market at Brentwood Pointe retail center.

Metro will have staff at the station to help direct passengers during the temporary closure of the west walkway, which is scheduled for tomorrow between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pedestrians should use caution if they choose to travel between the Dierbergs Market Brentwood Pointe store and the Brentwood I-64 Station via Eager Road.

When construction is completed in a few weeks, the new pedestrian access will provide a shorter and more convenient route for Metro transit riders between the Brentwood I-64 Station and other businesses at Brentwood Pointe. Dierbergs Market and the City of Brentwood identified the project as an important investment to improve access to and from the Brentwood I-64 Station and to enhance the surrounding area. Construction of the new pedestrian access is being funded by the Hanley Road Corridor Transportation Development District.
