The North County Transit Center in Ferguson just got a little sweeter thanks to the opening of Cafe Blue.

Metro’s newest food vendor, Cafe Blue operates inside the transit center Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Operated and managed by Keith Davis, the cafe currently offers MetroBus riders and Metro employees a wide range of food items to purchase from fresh fruit to snacks, to coffee and other drinks, to baked goods (croissants, cookies, muffins and donuts) made daily by Bakers Pride, a Ferguson-based business. You can also find select flavors of Ted Drewes frozen custard. Davis says he plans to start selling prepackaged sandwiches and salads in the near future.

The North County Transit Center officially opened its doors to the public on Monday, March 14. The transit center allows Metro to provide more frequent service, more direct service, faster transfers and connections to more destinations for many MetroBus riders who live, work, do business or travel through North St. Louis County.
