Metro to Provide Special Service to St. Louis Symphony Concert
Return to BlogMetro will make it easy for you to enjoy a free concert by the St. Louis Symphony under the night sky at Art Hill on Wednesday (Sept 14).
Metro will add special service from the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station to Art Hill. Ride for free to the concert and listen to classical favorites and a stay afterwards for a fireworks show.
Instead of dealing with parking, fighting traffic or walking long distances, park at any one of 21 free Metro Park-Ride lots in Missouri and Illinois, ride MetroLink to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station, and then hop on a special bus to Art Hill for a free, quick and convenient trip to the concert.
The special service will operate every 30 minutes between 5:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m., and it will make stops at the Visitor Center parking lots and the Boathouse on its way to the concert venue at Art Hill. After the concert ends, the buses will provide return service from Art Hill to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station between 8:45 p.m. and 9:28 p.m., while also making stops at the Visitor Center parking lots and the Boathouse along the way.
While these special trips to and from the concert on Art Hill Wednesday night are free, a validated paid ticket or pass is required to ride MetroLink or any other MetroBus route.
