MetroBus Shuttles to Transport Red Line Customers Between Five St. Louis MetroLink Stations This Sunday

Return to Blog

Metro will not operate trains between the Wellston MetroLink station and the North Hanley Metrolink Station this Sunday, July 15, due to construction near the UMSL South MetroLink Station. Since Red Line customers will be shuttled on MetroBus vehicles between those stations, they need to allow an extra 20 to 25 minutes for their commutes on Sunday.

Here are the details: on Sunday from beginning of service until the beginning of service on Monday, July 16, eastbound passengers at the North Hanley MetroLink Station need to take bus shuttles to get to the UMSL North, UMSL South, Rock Road and Wellston stations. When they arrive at the Wellston station, they can board the train to continue their eastbound trips. Westbound passengers at the Wellston station will board the shuttle buses to go to the Rock Road, UMSL South, UMSL North and North Hanley stations. When passengers arrive at North Hanley, they can continue westbound to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on the train.

Blue Line service will not be affected.
