MetroLink Fare Survey Starts April 4
Return to BlogMetro will conduct its semi-annual MetroLink Fare Survey starting Monday, April 4, and running through Sunday, May 1. Data collected each year is used to evaluate how passengers pay their transit fare and what fare media they use.
Fare surveyors will visit all 37 MetroLink stations over the course of the project, and they can be identified by their badges, displaying a Metro logo with either Survey Supervisor or Surveyor. Fare surveyors will also be carrying clipboards and wearing khaki or dark slacks and white, button-down shirts.
Surveyors will greet passengers before they enter the MetroLink statin’s platform area, and observe and document the type of fare (single-ride ticket, monthly pass, etc.) passengers are using to ride the system.
