MetroLink Work Scheduled For Week Of 4/15

Work is scheduled on the MetroLink system tonight through Sunday (April 15 through April 21). Passengers may experience short delays in the work zone. The affected areas of the MetroLink system are:Construction

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Rock Road and Wellston stations from 8 p.m. until the end of service April 15-18 (Monday through Thursday) to conduct track maintenance. Red Line passengers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays. Blue Line service will not be affected.

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Fairview Heights and Washington Park Stations from 8 p.m. until the end of service April 19 (tonight) and from beginning of service until end of service April 20 and April 21 (Saturday and Sunday) to conduct platform maintenance at the Washington Park Station. Red Line passengers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays. Blue Line service will only operate from Shrewsbury Station to Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station. Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights MetroLink Station and the Central West End MetroLink Station should board a Red Line train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station to catch a Blue Line train. Eastbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Central West End MetroLink Station and the Fairview Heights MetroLink Station should board a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue eastbound.

MetroLink will also operate on a single track at the Sunnen and Maplewood Stations from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. April 20 and April 21 (Saturday and Sunday) to conduct inspections between the Shrewsbury and Sunnen Stations. Blue Line passengers should allow for 5 to 10 minute delays. Red Line service will not be affected.
