MetroLink passengers are encouraged to allow extra time for their commutes in Illinois next week as maintenance work on the MetroLink system may result in delays for some Red Line passengers.

To accommodate work crews, Red Line MetroLink service will end at the College MetroLink Station and a Shuttle Train will transport passengers to and from the Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Station during the evenings of July 18 through July 22, and all weekend, on July 23 and July 24. MetroLink will also operate on a single track between the College and Shiloh-Scott Stations during the early mornings from July 19  through July 22.

In addition, MetroLink riders who access downtown St. Louis should be aware that the 14th Street entrance and exit to the Civic Center Station will be temporarily closed all weekend on July 23 and July 24 due to construction. The Civic Center Station platform will be open but for their convenience, riders are encouraged to use the Union Station MetroLink Station or the Stadium MetroLink as an alternative. The walkway to the west of the Civic Center Station, between the Civic Center platform and the Gateway Transportation Center, will remain open that weekend. It will be possible to connect to Clark Avenue via 16th Street.

On Monday through Friday (July 18-22) from 8 p.m. until end of service, regular Red Line MetroLink service will end at the College Station. Passengers who normally park at the Shiloh-Scott Station are encouraged to park at the College Station to avoid delays after 8 p.m.

On Tuesday through Friday (July 19-22) from the beginning of service until 5:30 a.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track between the College and Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Stations.

On Saturday and Sunday (July 23 & 24) from the beginning of service until the end of service, regular Red Line MetroLink service will end at the College Station. Passengers who normally park at the Shiloh-Scott Station are encouraged to park at the College Station all weekend in order to avoid delays.
