MetroLink Work Scheduled October 27 – November 2
Return to BlogUpdated 12:53 p.m. (Oct. 29): Track maintenance Friday, Saturday and Sunday has changed from work being done at Richmond Heights and Brentwood I-64 MetroLink Stations to the Terminal #2 MetroLink Station.
Updated 10:57 a.m. (Oct. 27): Track maintenance on Monday (Oct. 27) cancelled.
Rail maintenance work on the MetroLink system may result in short delays for some Red Line and Blue Line passengers next week, so customers are encouraged to allow a little extra time for their commutes.
To accommodate the crews, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Terminal #2 Station at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, Delmar Loop Station, Brentwood I-64 Station or the Richmond Heights Station, depending on the night.
- From 8 p.m. until the end of service on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Oct. 28, Oct. 29, and Oct. 30), trains will operate on a single track at the Delmar Loop Station. Red Line customers may experience delays of between 5 and 10 minutes.
- From 8 p.m. until the end of service on Friday (Oct. 31), MetroLink trains will run on one track at the Terminal #2 MetroLink Station as well as from the beginning of service until the end of service on both Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 1 and Nov. 2). Red Line customers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays.
Updates on MetroLink operations can be found on the Rider Alert section.
Try 45 minutes and counting. 5-10 delay? Give me a break.
Why will BLUE line trains be delayed if the work is on the RED line at the airport?
Steve, that was an error on our part. We’ve gone ahead and updated the blog.
