MetroLink passengers are encouraged to allow extra time for their commutes this week as maintenance work on the MetroLink system may result in delays for some passengers.

To accommodate work crews in Missouri, MetroLink will operate on a single track between the Union Station and Civic Center MetroLink Stations in downtown St. Louis weeknights from September 19 through September 23, and all day Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and September 25.

Blue Line trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere Stations during the single-track operation at the Union Station and Civic Center Stations. Blue Line riders travelling to stations between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and the Fairview Heights Station will need to catch Red Line trains to those Blue Line stations east of the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station.

In Illinois, Red Line MetroLink service will end at the College MetroLink Station and a Shuttle Train will transport passengers to and from the Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Station during the evenings of September 19 through September 23, and all day Saturday and Sunday (September 24 and September 25). Additionally, MetroLink will operate on a single track between the College and Shiloh-Scott Stations during the early weekday mornings from September 20 through September 23.

Monday through Friday (September 19-23) from 8 p.m. until the end of service, and on Saturday and Sunday (September 24 & 25) from the beginning of service to the end of service, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Union Station and Civic Center MetroLink Stations, and Blue Line trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Stations.

• Westbound Blue Line passengers will need to board a Red Line train between the Fairview Heights and Central West End MetroLink Stations and travel to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station to connect with a westbound Blue Line
• Eastbound Blue Line passengers will need to board a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue their eastbound trips.
• Passengers should allow 10 minutes when transferring between Red Line and Blue Line
• Red Line passengers may experience delays of 5 to 10 minutes.

Monday through Friday (September 19-23) from 8 p.m. until end of service, and on Saturday and Sunday (September 24 & 25) from the beginning of service until end of service, regular Red Line MetroLink service will end at the College Station. Passengers who normally park at the Shiloh-Scott Station are encouraged to park at the College Station to avoid delays during these periods.

• Eastbound passengers traveling to the Shiloh-Scott Station will need to get off the Red Line MetroLink train at College Station and board a Shuttle Train to continue their trip to the Shiloh-Scott Station. Eastbound riders traveling from College Station to the Shiloh-Scott Station may experience delays of 5 to 10 minutes.
• Westbound passengers at the Shiloh-Scott Station will need to board a Shuttle Train and ride to College Station to transfer to a westbound Red Line Westbound riders traveling from Shiloh-Scott Station to the College Station may experience delays of 20 to 25 minutes.
• Blue Line MetroLink service will not be impacted by this work.

Tuesday through Friday (September 20-23) from the beginning of service until 5 a.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track between the College and Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Stations.

• Red Line MetroLink trains will operate between the College and Shiloh-Scott Stations, but Red Line passengers may experience delays of 5 to 10 minutes.
• Blue Line MetroLink service will not be impacted.
