MetroStore Moves to New Location

Return to Blog

MetroStore is on the move.

Starting February 1, come by and check out Metro’s transit store at its new location in downtown St. Louis — the intersection of 8th and Pine Streets. You will discover it is conveniently located adjacent to the 8th & Pine MetroLink Station and is near several MetroBus and Madison County Transit express routes.

The MetroStore will close at its current location at 7th and Washington inside the America’s Center at 5 p.m. today, but you will still be able to purchase Metro daily, monthly and two-hour passes online.

Once the MetroStore opens at the new location, you can resume buying Metro tickets and passes and transit-related products in person from the MetroStore staff. Team members will be there Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help you get the passes and transit information you need to plan your trip on Metro. We think you will find the new store to be very welcoming for you, our Metro rider, as well as for visitors.

The new theme for MetroStore will be “Start Here. Get There.”   Throughout the year the transit store will profile several MetroBus and MetroLink routes and the various neighborhoods, businesses and attractions you can easily access via Metro transit. We look forward to seeing you “Start” at the MetroStore to experience all the ways public transit connects you to the important destinations and attractions our region has to offer.
