No MetroLink Service Between Forest Park and Civic Center on November 14 & 15

Return to Blog

MetroLink train at Civic CenterPlease plan ahead for your weekend commutes on Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15.

MetroLink will not operate between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Civic Center MetroLink Stations on November 14 and 15 due to construction projects taking place near the MetroLink tracks. During this service disruption, MetroLink Station Shuttles will transport passengers by bus between those stations. Passengers traveling through this area are encouraged to plan ahead and allow for up to an additional 30 minutes to their weekend commutes.

You will have two options for bus shuttles: one shuttle will make stops at all six of the impacted stations (Forest Park-DeBaliviere, Central West End, Cortex, Grand, Union Station and Civic Center) and the other shuttle will provide express service between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Civic Center Stations.

Signage will be placed at all of the stations to help direct you to the shuttle buses, and Metro Transit personnel will be available to assist you throughout the weekend service disruption.

MetroLink trains operating outside of the affected area – between Lambert Airport and Forest Park, between Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park, between Civic Center and Shiloh-Scott – will provide normal scheduled weekend service, with trains operating every 20 minutes.

MetroLink service is expected to be completely restored at the beginning of service on Monday, November 16.

For more information or assistance, please contact Metro Transit Information, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 314-231-2345 (phone), 314-207-9786 (text), or by webchat by clicking the red chat icon in the bottom right of this page.

I’m about to contact STLCC Wildwood to get me a shuttle from Wildwood town center to their campus since Metro likely won’t resume service over there indefinitely. Their campus is open and you won’t resume service over there. Disgraceful!

The #57 is in operation and is serving Wildwood. If you’re having an issues with a particular time or trip, the best way to get immediate assistance is to contact our Transit Information team – 314-207-9786 (text) or 314-231-2345 (phone). Available M-F, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
