MetroLink trains will not operate between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Central West End MetroLink Stations on Saturday, January 7, and Sunday, January 8, and MetroLink passengers should allow extra time for their commutes that weekend.

The contractor for the City of St. Louis has rescheduled the demolition of the Forest Park Parkway bridge over the MetroLink tracks west of Kingshighway for those dates, weather permitting.

MetroLink Station Shuttles will transport passengers by bus between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Central West End Stations. Riders traveling through this area should expect delays of 15 to 30 minutes. Metro will have personnel and signs at the stations to assist impacted MetroLink passengers.

On January 7 and 8, Red Line and Blue Line MetroLink trains will operate on their normal schedules west of the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station. Red Line trains will operate east of the Central West End MetroLink Station, running every 20 minutes between the Central West End and Shiloh-Scott Stations. There will be no Blue Line service east of the Central West End Station; Blue Line passengers should instead board a westbound Red Line to the Central West End Station, and ride the MetroLink Station Shuttle to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to transfer to a westbound Blue Line train.

MetroLink will resume normal operations by the beginning of service on Monday, January 9.
