Quarterly Service Change Scheduled for December 2

Return to Blog

Metro Transit will make adjustments to 16 MetroBus routes on Monday, December 2, as part of its quarterly service change.

Following the implementation of the redesigned MetroBus service plan in September, we have been closely monitoring trip data and reviewing feedback from riders and operators. This information has been used to update MetroBus routes and schedules to improve on-time performance and transit connections.

There are no changes to MetroLink or Illinois MetroBus routes.

  1. Jane says:

Please change all Maplewood departures of the 57. The departures for 10 after the hour after 10:10 since a train arrives at the same time the bus leaves and sometimes drivers run 5 minutes late because of that.

    1. Jerry says:

Thanks for the feedback – we will let our planning team know and have them take a look at the #57.

  2. Michael Hill says:

Please bring back the #20 South Broadway. The #9 only runs one an hour and is very inconvenient. It requires a trip on the #73 Carondelet to get to South County Center.

  3. Michael Hill says:

Will the #20 South Broadway be reinstated? The current #9 only runs once an hour.

    1. Jerry says:

There are currently no plans for a #20 South Broadway route, however, I will share your feedback about the frequency of the #9 Oakville with our Planning team for consideration for any future service changes.

  4. S, marie says:

Are they going to have a regular metro bus on the fenton connector and will there be a bus to catch on barresveiw going to the mall and will 58 on lindbergh and clayton road still go to chesterfield by walmart on thf boulevard

    1. Jerry says:

The #101 Fenton Connector will continued to be served by a Metro Call-A-Ride vehicle, but frequency on the route has increased at peak times to better serve riders. However, Planning will continue to closely monitor this route to see if other adjustments are needed. Also, the #58 Chesterfield Valley continues to go to Chesterfield and serves THF Blvd.

  5. Marjorie says:

These changes for #49 Lindbergh make it impossible for anyone that gets off work at 5pm to catch #58X when we could before… the next closest route is way further north and is a slap in the face to people with disabilities in this area.

    1. Jerry says:

We’ll share your comments with our Planning team and have them review possible changes to routes in that area.
