RIDER ALERT: MetroLink Single Tracking July 18-19 Evening & July 23-24 Daytime for Construction

Next week, Metro will continue with projects in Illinois and preparation for the Eads Bridge rehabilitation project. To allow time and access for crews, MetroLink will operate on a single-track during these times. If you are traveling, you may experience short delays. We appreciate your patience in letting us get these projects moving ahead.
East Riverfront Single Track
In preparation for construction on the Eads Bridge, MetroLink will single track at the East Riverfront station on Monday and Tuesday nights beginning at 8:00 p.m. until the end of service. Blue Line trains will only operate from Civic Center to Shrewsbury station during this single track operation.
Monday, July 18: 8:00 p.m. till the end of service
Tuesday, July 19: 8:00 p.m. till the end of service
Fairview Heights Single Track
The ADA tiles (gray edge area of the platform) are being replaced at the Fairview Heights station platform. In order to conduct this work, MetroLink will single track at the Fairview Heights, Washington Park, and JJK stations from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24.
To continue to provide a timely service during this single track operation, Blue Line trains will only operate from the Emerson Park station to Shrewsbury station from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Passengers should expect delays up to 5 minutes.
Saturday, July 23: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 24: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
