Take Metro to See Holiday Light Displays
Return to BlogThe holiday season is upon us, and that means there are plenty of events that are sure to brighten your spirits. Avoid traffic and parking woes and take Metro to some of your favorite holiday light displays around the area.
Anheuser-Busch Brewery Lights
The light display at the famed brewery features more than a half million lights on buildings scattered through the campus. Follow along on a self-guided walking tour and enjoy a variety of activities, including beer sampling for adults. This year, grab the ice skates and skate under the red glow of the iconic “Budweiser” sign on the Bevo Packaging Plant. The rink is open to guests of all ages with hot cocoa and kettle corn available for purchase. Skate rentals will also be available for a small donation to the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund.

Holidays at Union Station
The holiday season is bigger and brighter at St. Louis Union Station. This year, 14 new attractions and experiences will create the biggest holiday hot spot in the Midwest, including train rides, North Pole Village activities, ice skating and the new Fire & Light show.

Garden Glow
See millions of lights shine up on the Climatron, Kaeser Memorial Maze, Central Axis, Tower Grove House and other iconic locations inside the Missouri Botanical Garden. There are interactive photo opportunities, traditional holiday music and festivities, and food and drinks are also available.

Wild Lights
Take a walk on the wild side during the U.S. Bank Wild Lights at the Saint Louis Zoo. Check out light displays of penguins, butterflies, prairie dogs and more, along with all sort of holiday activities like storytelling, performances and crafts.
