Take Metro To St. Louis Blues Season Home Opener This Saturday

Return to Blog

The NHL season is back on and the St. Louis Blues home opener is Saturday! What’s the easiest way to get downtown before the puck drops? Metro Transit, of course!

The Blues are scheduled to play the Detroit Red Wings at 7 p.m. at the Scottrade Center.

The Civic Center Transit Center at 14th and Spruce is a hop, skip and a ‘flying V’ away from the Blues home ice.

Coming in from the east, the Blue Line gets in at 6:35 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. and the Red Line gets in at 6:25 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Heading to the Civic Center Transit Center from the west, the Blue Line arrives at 6:28 p.m. and 6:48 p.m. and the Red Line at 6:18 p.m. and 6:38 p.m. You could also go early and grab a bite to eat at a downtown restaurant before the game.

MetroBus is another great option. The 11, 94 and 4 go to the Scottrade Center and the #4,  #8, #10, #11, #30, #32, #41, #73, #74, #80, #94, #97, and #99,  all serve the Civic Center Transit Center as well.

If you are planning on taking the Metro to the game, remember to send your us pictures on Twitter, Instagram and on Facebook! (@STLMetro and #STLMetro)

Go Blues!!
