Take Metro to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon This Weekend

Return to Blog

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon, 10K and 5K races are scheduled to take place in St. Louis this weekend, and Metro is an easy and convenient way for you to get to and from all of the events without worrying about parking or navigating around road closures in midtown, downtown and south St. Louis.

Park at any one of the 21 free Metro Park-Ride lots in Missouri or Illinois, purchase a round-trip ticket, and take MetroLink to the race areas in downtown St. Louis. On Saturday, October 14, ride MetroLink to the Civic Center Transit Center or 8th & Pine MetroLink Station, which are both just a few blocks away from the 5K starting line at Market and 13th Street.

On Sunday, October 15, ride MetroLink to the 8th & Pine MetroLink Station, which is a few blocks northeast of the 10K and Half Marathon starting lines at Market and 10th Street. MetroBus is another option, with 19 MetroBus routes serving the Civic Center Transit Center in downtown St. Louis during the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
