Weekend Delays for MetroLink Customers Traveling to or from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport
Return to BlogMetroLink trains will not be in service between Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and the North Hanley Station this weekend, November 16 and November 17, so crews can perform maintenance on overhead lines and rails. Customers will be transported by bus shuttles between both Lambert Airport Terminal stations and the North Hanley Station and that will create delays of 20 to 25 minutes for those passengers. Passengers are encouraged to allow enough time for the longer commute to the airport so they do not miss their flights or arrive late for work.
Westbound passengers at the North Hanley MetroLink Station will need to board a shuttle bus to continue westbound. The bus will transport MetroLink passengers to Lambert Airport Terminal #2 Station and Lambert Airport Terminal #1 Station.
Eastbound MetroLink passengers at Lambert Airport Terminals #1 and #2 will need to board the shuttle bus so they can be transported to the North Hanley Station. After arriving at the North Hanley Station, customers wanting to continue eastbound will board an eastbound train to continue their trips.
Red Line service between the North Hanley MetroLink Station and Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Station will not be affected. The MetroLink maintenance work will not impact Blue Line service. Regular MetroLink service will resume by the start of service on Monday, November 18.
The latest MetroLink service updates are available on our website or by calling Metro Transit Information Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 314-231-2345 or 618-271-2345.
