Metro Voices is more than just a message; it’s a movement rooted in the idea that public transit is a thread that connects us all. This digital video series aims to amplify the experiences of those who move through our metropolitan area each day and bridge gaps–understanding and appreciating the diverse narratives and shared journeys that are at the heart of our transit system.
At its core, Metro Voices aims to bridge gaps— understanding and appreciating the diverse narratives that are found at the heartbeat of our transit system. It is a celebration of the shared journeys, the unseen sacrifices, and the collective aspirations that echo in the steady rhythm of our daily commutes.
Through storytelling, Metro Voices invites riders to rediscover their city and find common ground in the multitude of experiences that define our region.
Whether it’s the student heading to class, the artist on the way to a gallery opening, or the nurse returning home after a night shift, every story matters. By highlighting the positive local stories and the real faces of our neighborhoods, we create a different narrative: one of purpose, possibility, and pride within our public transit system.
“Together we ride, together we thrive.”
