No Weekend MetroLink Service Between Forest Park and Grand Stations | 9/26 & 9/27

DETAILS

MetroLink will not operate between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Grand MetroLink Stations all-day on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, due to bridge maintenance work. During this weekend, MetroLink Station Shuttles will transport riders by bus between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere, Central West End, Cortex and Grand MetroLink Stations.

Riders are encouraged to allow an extra 30 minutes if you are traveling through this area to avoid delays. MetroLink will resume service between the Forest Park and Grand Stations at the beginning of service on Monday, September 28.

Red Gateway Card Users Must Replace Cards Before Sept. 30

Metro Transit will stop accepting Red ADA Paratransit Gateway Cards on MetroBus and MetroLink on September 30, 2026, as it transitions to a new fare system. Riders who use these cards must request a replacement ADA Paratransit Ride On card before the deadline.

Blue Line Service Between Shrewsbury & Forest Park Only

DETAILS

Union Station and Civic Center Stations Single-Track Details: 

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday beginning at 6:00PM until After Revenue service, KCI Construction will continue construction work inside the Union Station Tunnel.  To accommodate this work, MetroLink will single-track at Union Station and Civic Center Stations.  
 During the 6:00PM single-track operation: 
o Blue Line Trains will only operate from Forest Park Station to Shrewsbury Station. 
o Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the Central West End Station 
should board a Red Line train to Forest Park Station to connect with a Blue Line train. 
o Red Line service may experience delays up to 5 minutes. 
o Customers should allow an additional 10 minutes when transferring to the Blue Line. 

On Saturday, beginning at 11:30 PM until After Revenue service, KCI Construction will continue construction work inside the Union Station Tunnel.  To accommodate this work, MetroLink will single-track at Union Station and Civic Center Stations 
During the 11:30PM single-track operation:
