Lambert Airport Terminal #1 MetroLink Station Temporarily Closed Oct. 12 - Mid-December
DETAILS
The Lambert Airport Terminal #1 MetroLink Station will be temporarily closed starting Monday, October 12, due to airport construction work that is expected to be completed in mid-December.
MetroLink trains will not stop at Terminal #1 Station during the closure, but you can still ride MetroLink to the airport.
Heading to Terminal #1 on MetroLink
– Take a westbound Red Line train to the Terminal #2 MetroLink Station.
– Head into Terminal #2 and make your way to Exit 10 for the free airport shuttle.
– Board the airport shuttle to Terminal #1.
Leaving Terminal #1 on MetroLink
– Head to Exit 12 in Terminal #1 for the free airport shuttle.
– Board the airport shuttle to Terminal #2.
– Head to the Terminal #2 MetroLink Station and catch an eastbound Red Line train.
The shuttle connection adds a few minutes to your trip, so plan ahead and give yourself some extra time before your flight.

Union Station and Civic Center Stations Single-Track Details
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday beginning at 6:00 PM until After Revenue Service, KCI Construction will continue construction work inside the Union Station Tunnel. To accommodate this work, MetroLink will singletrack at Union Station and Civic Center Stations.
During the 6:00PM single-track operation:
o Blue Line Trains will only operate from Forest Park Station to Shrewsbury Station.
o Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the Central West End Station
should board a Red Line train to Forest Park Station to connect with a Blue Line train.
o Red Line service may experience delays up to 5 minutes.
o Customers should allow an additional 10 minutes when transferring to the Blue Line.
