8th & Pine Station Reopens on Monday, December 16

The 8th & Pine MetroLink Station in downtown St. Louis will reopen to customers at the beginning of transit service on Monday, December 16. MetroLink trains will resume service to the station, and the temporary 8th & Pine bus shuttle will be cancelled.

The 8th & Pine Station has been closed for several months to allow for a comprehensive rehabilitation of the 31-year-old station, including installation of new staircases, lighting, structural work and other infrastructure improvements.

Single-Track Operations at Downtown Stations | 6 p.m. to End of Service | December 16-20

DETAILS

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:00PM until After Revenue Service, Kozeny Wagner will perform construction within the Downtown Tunnel. To accommodate this work, MetroLink will single-track at Laclede’s Landing, Convention Center, 8^th & Pine, and Stadium Stations.

During single-track operation:

• Blue Line Trains will only operate from Forest Park Station to Shrewsbury Station

• Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the Central West End Station should board a Red Line train to Forest Park Station to connect with a Blue Line train.

• Red Line service may experience delays of up to 5 minutes.

• Customers should allow an additional 10 minutes when transferring to the Blue Line.
