September 14 Service Change: Changes to 9 MetroBus Routes, Ending Service on #5 Green

DETAILS

Metro Transit will make schedule/routing changes to nine MetroBus routes on Monday, September 14, as part of a quarterly service change. This includes the ending of service on the #5 Green MetroBus route.

Blue Line Service Between Shrewsbury & Forest Park Only

DETAILS

Union Station and Civic Center Stations Single-Track Details:

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday beginning at 6:00PM until After Revenue service, KCI Construction will continue construction work inside the Union Station Tunnel. To accommodate this work, MetroLink will singletrack at Union Station and Civic Center Stations. 
During the 6:00PM single-track operation:
o Blue Line Trains will only operate from Forest Park Station to Shrewsbury Station.
o Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the Central West End Station 
should board a Red Line train to Forest Park Station to connect with a Blue Line train.
o Red Line service may experience delays up to 5 minutes.
o Customers should allow an additional 10 minutes when transferring to the Blue Line.
Memorial Station Single-Track Details:
On Tuesday beginning at 9:30PM until After Revenue service, Metro crews will be splicing catenary wire between Fairview Heights 
and Royal Interlocking. To accommodate this work MetroLink will single track at Memorial Hospital Station.
During the 9:30PM single track operation:
o Red Line service may experience delays up to 5 minutes
