Senior Reduced Fare Permits
A Senior Reduced Fare Permit allows seniors (age 65 and older) to ride MetroBus and MetroLink for only half price! Obtaining your permit is easy and free – all you need to do is apply in person at the MetroStore or at one of our mobile registration events. Please note that, because a photo is taken when you’re issued a Senior Reduced Fare Permit, you must apply in person. The MetroStore is located in downtown St. Louis at the corner of 8th & Pine St. (801 Pine Street) above the MetroLink station.
Permits are issued during normal MetroStore hours. Bring a government-issued picture identification card verifying your age (age 65 and older). Acceptable forms of identification include a state vehicle driver’s license, state ID, passport or alien registration card. Senior Reduced Fare Permits are only available for residents of Missouri and Illinois. For more information, call the MetroStore at 314-982-1495.
To learn more about our mobile events or to inquire about having one come to your area, please call 314-982-1455.
