Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I44 MetroLink Station

At this time, MetroLink is not operating between Shrewsbury-Lansdowne 1-44 and Brentwood I-64 due to reports of a downed wire. MetroLink Station Shuttles are transporting riders by bus between the Maplewood and Brentwood Stations. Passengers traveling through the affected area may experience significant delays of up to 60 minutes.

UPDATE: Station Shuttles are still in effect between Shrewsbury to Brentwood Stations. Due to the situation, passengers should expect 20-30 minute delays for Blue Line Trains. Red Line Trains are operating normally.

UPDATE: Station Shuttles are still operating. We expect normal Blue Line service to resume between Shrewsbury to Brentwood Stations later this evening.

Union Station and Civic Center Stations Single-Track Details:

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning at 6:00 PM until After Revenue Service, KCI Construction will continue construction work inside the Union Station Tunnel.  To accommodate this work, MetroLink will single-track at Union Station and Civic Center Stations. 

During the 6:00PM single-track operation:

o Blue Line Trains will only operate from Forest Park Station to Shrewsbury Station.

o Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the Central West End Station should board a Red Line train to Forest Park Station to connect with a Blue Line train.

o Red Line service may experience delays up to 5 minutes.

o Customers should allow an additional 10 minutes when transferring to the Blue Line.

Starting April 13, the south stairway at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 MetroLink Station will be closed for about three months for construction. 

During the closure, please use the station ELEVATOR or the STAIRS/WALKWAY located on the NORTH END of the station to enter or exit the platform.
