Ready to celebrate the Fourth of July in Downtown St. Louis? We’ve got you covered! Whether you’re a local or visiting for the festivities, Metro Transit is your go-to transportation option for July 4 fun.

Ensure a smooth ride to #CelebrateStLouis by keeping this in mind:

• Plan Ahead: Download our free Transit App for easy trip planning, real-time arrivals, and purchase your fare. Plan your trip in advance to avoid delays, and purchase a mobile fare to avoid the lines at ticket vending machines.
• Use Alternative Stations: Due to the closure of the 8th & Pine MetroLink Station, use the Convention Center or Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Stations to access Celebrate St. Louis events.
• Stay Informed: Follow Metro Transit (@STLMetro) and @Celebrate_STL on social media for any service or event updates.
• Parking: More than 10,000 free parking spaces are available at MetroLink Stations in Missouri and Illinois, with large Park-Ride lots at North Hanley, Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44, Brentwood I-64, Emerson Park and Fairview Heights Stations.
• For Your Safety: Use designated crosswalks and pedestrian paths. Be cautious when boarding and exiting the train to avoid tripping or falling. Keep your bags and valuables in sight at all times and be sure to keep young ones are always within arm’s reach.

• 10 AM – America’s Birthday Parade: Kick off your day with one of the most colorful and lively parades in the country. Nearest MetroLink Stations: Stadium, Civic Center, Union Station

• 12 PM – Vendors Open: Stroll through a variety of vendors offering delicious food, unique crafts, and fun activities. Nearest MetroLink Station: Laclede’s Landing

• 1:35 PM – 150^th Eads Bridge Celebration: Join the community in celebrating the historic Eads Bridge. Nearest MetroLink Station: Laclede’s Landing

• 2 PM – Air Show: Look up and be amazed by the thrilling aerial displays. Nearest MetroLink Stations: Laclede’s Landing, East Riverfront
