Help Metro and the Blues Brighten the Holidays for Area Children

Return to Blog

You can help make this holiday season special for area children in need. Metro Transit and the St. Louis Blues have partnered on a toy drive to benefit Fire Truck O’Toys, a local nonprofit that delivers toys to children’s hospitals in the St. Louis region.

Help us fill a special St. Louis Blues-themed MetroBus with new, unwrapped toys that will be delivered to local hospitals this December. Everyone who donates a toy will receive a free Metro Adventure Pass (a one-day pass good for unlimited rides on MetroLink and MetroBus) and will be entered for a chance to win autographed items from the St. Louis Blues – including a jersey, hockey stick and puck.

Alternative Option: Can’t make it to a home game? Drop off your donation at the MetroStore.

To participate, bring a new, unwrapped toy to any St. Louis Blues home game from Friday, November 23 to Sunday, December 9. Look for the Blues bus at the north end of the Civic Center Transit Center, directly across from the Enterprise Center. Donations will be accepted at the bus starting two hours before each game and 30 minutes after the puck drops.
