Notice: Red Gateway Card Users Must Replace Cards Before Sept. 30
Return to BlogMetro Transit will stop accepting Red ADA Paratransit Gateway Cards on MetroBus and MetroLink on September 30, 2026, as it transitions to a new fare system. Riders who use these cards must request a replacement ADA Paratransit Ride On card before the deadline.

- Who is affected: Red ADA Paratransit Gateway Card users who ride MetroBus and MetroLink.
- What you must do: Request a new ADA Paratransit Ride On card online, by phone, or in person at the Transit Access Center.
- When action is needed: As soon as possible to receive your ADA Paratransit Ride On card by September 30.
- Why it is necessary: ADA Paratransit Ride On cards are required to validate your pass on MetroBus and MetroLink.
How to Request the New Card
You can request an ADA Paratransit Ride On card online, by phone, or in person at the Transit Access Center.
To request online or by phone, visit MetroStLouis.org/RedCards or call 314.982.1510. We will mail your new card. Please allow two weeks to receive your card if you request it online or by phone.
To request in person, visit the Transit Access Center at 3140 Pershall Rd, St. Louis, MO 63136. You must bring your unexpired Red Gateway Card. The Transit Access Center is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
