Ride Metro to the St. Louis Earth Day Festival this Weekend

The St. Louis Earth Day Festival returns to the Muny Grounds in Forest Park this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Visitors can learn about the environment, sustainable-living and the latest information about Metro Transit, while enjoying food, entertainment and hands-on activities for all ages.
Visit the Metro Transit booth and get a firsthand look at our climate-controlled, state-of-the-art electric MetroBus, located near The Muny’s main entrance. Stop by to say hi, get some fun giveaways, enter to win a monthly Metro pass and learn more about our sustainability efforts.
In addition to the Metro booth, festival-goers can find information about sustainable local nonprofits and services, and check out the Main Stage lineup for performances from local storytellers, artists, and musicians. Double Bloom, an immersive installation featuring two geodesic domes made of community-collected post-consumer plastic, will serve as interactive spaces for activities throughout the fest.
Festival-goers looking for a convenient, environmentally-friendly transportation option to Earth Day can drive, walk, bicycle or carpool to one of the 21 free Metro Park-Ride lots in Missouri and Illinois, and ride MetroLink to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station, located about a half-mile from the festival grounds. Take the Earth Day Challenge and receive a free Metro Day Pass!
