Forest Park Adventures

Nothing says summer like a relaxing picnic in the park. Grab your blanket, pack a delicious spread, and hop on MetroLink to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station or jump on the #90 Hampton MetroBus to reach destinations throughout the park. Forest Park is known for scenic views, areas, and activities that are perfect for a family outing or a leisurely afternoon with friends. Don’t forget to stop by the nearby Saint Louis Art Museum, take a stroll around the beautiful Jewel Box greenhouse, or catch a show at The Muny.

How to Get There: Ride MetroLink to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station or take the #90 Hampton to ride into Forest Park.

Celebrate at Pride (June 29 & 30)

June is Pride Month, and the Pride Parade and PrideFest in downtown St. Louis are two of the most exciting events of the month. Join the celebration of love, diversity, and inclusion by riding MetroLink or MetroBus to the Civic Center Transit Center. .

How to Get There: Ride MetroLink or any of more than a dozen MetroBus routes to the Civic Center Transit Center and walk a few blocks to the parade route and PrideFest.

Cheer on the Cardinals (Multiple Dates)

There’s no better way to spend a summer day than cheering on the Cardinals at Busch Stadium. Avoid the hassle of game day parking and traffic by taking MetroLink direct to the stadium. Enjoy the game and create lasting memories with family and friends.

How to Get There: Ride MetroLink to Stadium Station, which is conveniently located immediately west of Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village.

Take a tour to the top of The Gateway Arch for an immersive hometown experience.   • Missouri Botanical Garden: Take the #8 Shaw-Cherokee to the Shaw Blvd. & Vandeventer Avenue bus stop.
  • Tower Grove Park: Take the #70 Grand MetroBus.
