Here is where the heart of public transit meets the voice of the community.

Community Connect is your opportunity to interact directly with Metro Transit teams, learn about the latest updates, and influence the decisions that shape your daily commute.

Meet the Metro Transit team at select MetroLink stations and Transit Centers at the dates and times below. They will have information on new projects and programs, upcoming changes, service news — and you will have a chance to directly engage our team to ask questions or share feedback on your transit experience. Stop by to chat, or we’ll also have informative handouts available that you can just swing to quickly pickup and be on your way.

We hope you can join us at Community Connect.

School Field Trips and Group Rides

Looking for a fresh and fun field trip idea? Ride Metro as part of your trip!

Metro is excited to offer the Metro Student Field Trip Program to St. Louis metro area schools, grades 1–12. The program provides students, faculty and chaperones access to the MetroBus and/or MetroLink system. Bring your students on an educational adventure, while teaching them important transit skills that they will carry with them for a lifetime.

Organized group trips are also available for university students and employee groups, and as well as other adult groups who want to make transit a part of their next activity.

Facility Tours

Why not bring your group to a MetroBus garage or MetroLink train yard for your next activity?

A Metro facility tour provides a fascinating look into the engineering, mechanical and operating principles of public transportation, and gives a behind-the-scenes look at how our teams keep the region moving.

Metro offers free tours of our MetroLink facility in midtown St. Louis as well as three MetroBus facilities across the Metro area.

Presentations

Public transit is an integral part of the region’s transportation infrastructure and it plays a vital role within the region. Metro Transit is committed to ensuring that individuals have all of the information they need about their public transit system and the transportation options available through to everyone.

Metro transit leaders and team members provide educational presentations and information on a variety of transit-related topics. The presentations can be geared to fit your group’s specific needs and interests.

Event Participation and Sponsorships

Metro supports the St. Louis community at events both large and small. If you are planning an upcoming community event or festival, consider requesting the presence of a Metro representative to staff a table or booth.

While at your event, Metro provides transit information, maps, schedules, trip planning and promotional giveaways, and, when available, cooling or warming buses. Advanced notice and coordination with your event coordinator is required for Metro’s participation.
