MetroBus Connections
Metro is adding a special Rush Hour Connector MetroLink train during peak service hours from approximately 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. in the morning and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the afternoon, to evaluate increasing frequency to some of the busiest MetroLink stations at the busiest times. These trains will operate between select stations:
Saturday, Oct. 17 – Friday, Oct. 23 | The Rush Hour Connector train will operate between the Delmar Loop and Grand MetroLink Stations.
Saturday, Oct. 24 – Friday, Oct. 30 | the Rush Hour Connector train will operate between the Richmond Heights and Grand MetroLink Stations.
X DETAILS:Beginning Monday, November 2, Blue Line MetroLink trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Stations due to necessary maintenance work, from beginning of service to end of service each day. This change to Blue Line service is expected to last through December 23.
What Riders Need to Know
- Eastbound Blue Line riders will need to transfer to a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue their trips east.
- Westbound riders traveling to Blue Line stations must board a Red Line train and then transfer to a westbound Blue Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station.
- Riders needing to transfer between the Red Line and Blue Line should allow an extra 5-10 minutes for their trip.
- During the week of Thanksgiving, from November 23 to November 28, MetroLink will operate normal Red Line and Blue Line service during the day, and modified Blue Line service only between Shrewsbury & Forest Park after 6 p.m.
