Metro Transit Service Change on September 8

On Monday, September 8, Metro Transit will make schedule and routing adjustments to 14 MetroBus routes in Missouri and Illinois as part of the quarterly service change. There are no changes to MetroLink or Metro Call‑A‑Ride service.

Metro Transit regularly monitors and reviews feedback from customers and operators, and uses this information and other trip data to make adjustments to improve on-time performance and transit connections. The changes scheduled to go into effect on September 8 include:

  • #9 Oakville: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules for better connections at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center.
  • #13 Union: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.
  • #21 Watson Road: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance and better connections at Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center. Last trip of evening will serve St. Clare Hospital instead of St. Louis Community College-Meramec.
  • #30 Arsenal: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.
  • #33 Midland: Adjusting route to end north on Progress Parkway near Dorsett Road.
  • #49 Lindbergh: Adjusting schedules for trips serving Lighthouse for the Blind.
  • #58 Chesterfield Valley: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.
  • #74 Florissant: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules, extending last evening trips from Goodfellow Blvd. to Grand Blvd.
  • #90 Hampton: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance. The Federal Center will no longer be a time point for this route.
  • #91 Olive: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.
  • #94 Page: Adjusting schedules for trips serving Lighthouse for the Blind.
  • #100 Hazelwood: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules.
  • #2 Cahokia Heights (IL): Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.
  • #5 Missouri Ave. – ML King (IL): Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.
