8th & Pine Station to Temporarily Close for Station Improvements
Return to BlogThe 8th & Pine MetroLink Station in downtown St. Louis will temporarily close for several months starting on Monday, April 8, for a station enhancement project. Construction crews will install new staircases and make other infrastructure improvements at the 8th & Pine Station during the project. The 8th & Pine Station is expected to reopen to service later this summer when the project concludes.
During the closure, customers are not able to access the station or station platform, and MetroLink trains are not stopping at the station. Metro Transit is operating a Metro Shuttle bus during the station closure between the Civic Center and 8th & Pine MetroLink Stations to support customers traveling to or from destinations near the 8th & Pine Station, including MetroStore and the Transit Access Center. The Metro Shuttle operates every 20 minutes.
