Feeling Chilly? Use the MetroLink Platform Heaters to Stay Warm

MetroLink platform heater turned onThe weather is getting cold, and the official start of winter is right around the corner!

All of our outdoor MetroLink Stations have platform heaters to keep you comfortable as you wait for your train to arrive. These heaters can be used when the temperature is 45 degrees Fahrenheit or below, and only during regularly scheduled MetroLink service.

Each heater has a green button – press that to get the heater started and it will stay on for 15 minutes. If you ever need additional time, you can press the button again once it turns off.

All platform heaters have signs explaining how to use them, but if you have any questions contact Customer Service at 314.982.1406 (call) or 314.207.9786 (text).

Pro tip: Wearing a mask over your nose and mouth is not only required on Metro, it will also keep you a little warmer.
