Metro is Your Ride to Winterfest

Return to Blog

We’ll admit it, there’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit than heading downtown for skating, lights, igloos, music, and all the magic that takes over Kiener Plaza each year. If you’re planning your visit to Winterfest, Metro Transit has you covered.

Whether you’re coming from North County, South City, the Metro East, or anywhere in between, MetroLink is the best way to get downtown for Winterfest.

Just hop on the Red or Blue Line and ride to either:

  • Stadium Station – just steps from Kiener Plaza, with a quick walk past Busch Stadium and right into the holiday action
  • 8th & Pine Station – another great option that drops you right into the center of downtown

From either station, you’ll be only a short walk away from Winterfest activities. Opening day is November 22 and you can enjoy the fun every weekend through Jan. 11, 2026. Check here for the full season itinerary.

Plan Your Trip

Plan your MetroLink ride with ease by downloading the free Transit App to purchase fare and find the best route from your neighborhood.

Bundle up, grab your skating gear, and let MetroLink take you straight to St. Louis’ favorite winter tradition.

It was so wet and cold on the me y rolling this morning. No heat on at all. It was 29 degrees and 25 by time I got home.people were wet and froze, where was metrology concern about their customers. And was it a ride free day, I never seen 1 person besides myself buy a ticket? Worst public safety day in a very long time. Not 1 station besides fairview heights from Illinois had working outside heat!. You got construction but I heard your workers don’t want to work Saturday. Replacing fence, fix the heat.
