Metro Transit Service Change on September 9

On Monday, September 9, Metro Transit will make schedule and/or route adjustments to seven MetroBus routes as part of the quarterly service change. There are no changes to MetroLink or Metro Call‑A‑Ride service.

Metro Transit regularly monitors and reviews feedback from operators and customers and uses this information and other trip to make adjustments to improve transit services. The changes scheduled to go into effect on September 9 include:

  • #4 Natural Bridge – Changing time of first morning trip for better connections to the #34 Earth City route at North Hanley Transit Center
  • #8 Shaw-Cherokee – Changing route timepoint from Jefferson & Meramec to Jefferson & Chippewa
  • #49 Lindbergh – Adding a southbound weekday morning trip, and changing times for two afternoon trips to improve on-time performance
  • #73 Carondelet – Adding an early morning northbound trip on weekdays to Civic Center Transit Center
  • #91 Olive – Adding two morning eastbound trips on weekdays; route will now end at Chesterfield City Hall due to closure of Chesterfield Mall
  • #95 Kingshighway – Adding a morning northbound trip on weekdays; changing times for three early morning trips to improve on-time performance
  • #97 Delmar – Routing change due to the VA Hospital closure of Enright
