EMMAFEST comes to Jones Park on Saturday, Oct. 3, bringing a full day of food, music, family activities and community pride. Presented by the Emma L. Wilson King Foundation, EMMAFEST has become a fun fall tradition, and the best part is that it’s all free. Free admission. Free rides. Free fun for the whole family.

EMMAFEST Schedule

• 7:30 a.m. – The day starts early with a free 5K Run and Walk at Jones Park. Registration is free.
• 11 a.m. – Festivities kick off with the Community Parade.
• 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. – The festival opens, with music and performances throughout the afternoon, free amusement rides for all ages, face painting, games and activities for the kids. Food from local vendors and community favorites. Local businesses selling crafts, merchandise and more.

Getting to EMMAFEST

Skip the traffic, let Metro handle the drive. Jones Park is located at 2920 Argonne Drive in East St. Louis, and it’s easy to reach on MetroLink and MetroBus.

MetroLink Connection: JJK Center MetroLink Station | The park is located just a couple blocks north of the station
MetroBus Connections: #6 Rosemont, #9 Washington Park | Both routes have stops serving Jones Park

• To plan your trip to EmmaFest, download Transit app, use our online trip planner, or contact Metro Transit Information for a custom trip plan, available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Due to bridge maintenance work, bus shuttles will replace MetroLink trains between Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Grand Stations on Saturday and Sunday. Plan ahead to avoid delays.
