Take Metro to the St. Louis Battlehawks Home Opener

Return to Blog

XFL logoProfessional football returns to St. Louis on Sunday, February 23, as the St. Louis Battlehawks take on the New York Guardians at the Dome at America’s Center. Metro Transit makes it easy to enjoy the excitement of the XFL without worrying about finding a place to park or navigating your car through crowded downtown streets.

MetroLink

MetroLink provides a direct connection to the Dome at America’s Center in downtown St. Louis via the Convention Center MetroLink Station.

Park your vehicle at any of the 21 free Metro Park-Ride lots at MetroLink stations in Missouri and Illinois, and ride the train to the Convention Center Station in downtown St. Louis. Once you’re there, hop off MetroLink and head north on 6th Street to make it to the Dome.

A round-trip ticket on MetroLink is just $5. Tickets can be purchased at Ticket Vending Machines located at every station.

MetroBus

MetroBus is another option for getting downtown to the big game. The #32 ML King and #40 N. Broadway routes both serve stops near the Dome at America’s Center.

A one-ride fare on MetroBus is $2, and a 2-Hour Pass (good on MetroLink and MetroBus) is $3. Fares can be purchased on-board the bus – exact change is required.

Plan Your Trip

Download the Transit app to your mobile device to get access to trip-planning support, MetroLink and MetroBus schedules, nearby transit options and other information – all in the palm of your hand.

You can also contact Metro Transit Information for assistance, available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 314-231-2345 (phone), at 314-207-9786 (text) or by clicking the red webchat icon in the lower right of this page.
