As we enter October there are plenty of fun fall events and activities in the St. Louis area to attend, and Metro is here to get you there.

With our $5 Metro Day Pass, you can enjoy unlimited rides on MetroBus and MetroLink for an entire day – at one great low price.

Several MetroBus routes will be detoured during the special events due to street closures but we will get you as close as we can to the event venue.

  • Every Sunday in October, The Riverboats at the Gateway Arch is hosting our city’s only “floating” concert series, Rock the Dock, featuring a different local band on each of six dates. A celebration of St. Louis, Rock the Dock is a unique way to enjoy live musical performances by some of St. Louis’ most popular bands while taking in incredible views of downtown St. Louis, the Gateway Arch and the Mississippi River from the riverboat dock.

  • If you think the Fabulous Fox Theatre has been sitting empty the past few months, think again. They have quite a few resident ghosts, and they’re ready to share their stories with you! Fox Ghost tours are programmed with the assistance of the St. Louis Paranormal Research Society. Tours include both Fox Theatre history provided by Fox tour guides and “ghost” stories from the Paranormal Society following their investigation and analysis of the theatre’s “hot spots” of paranormal activity.

  • The St. Louis Beer Fest takes over the St. Louis Science Center after hours, featuring over 40 breweries, 120 beers and access throughout the museum. Admission includes samplings from participating breweries, as well as access to all the exhibits.

Art on the Square in Downtown Belleville – 10/22-10/24
Complimentary shuttles to the event from Belleville Transit Center, accessible on MetroLink Red Line trains or MetroBus #1 Main-State Street, #15 Belleville-Shiloh/Scott Station, #16 St. Clair Square, #17 Carlyle Plaza-17th Street

  • Art on the Square is a juried fine art show located in downtown Belleville. Featuring the original work of over 100 accomplished artists from around the world, fantastic musical and stage performances as well as delicious local food and drink, Art on the Square is a three-day sensation for the eyes, ears and palate! St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD) will provide complimentary round-trip rides, via the SCCTD Trolley Bus, from the Belleville Transit Center. The SCCTD Shuttle Bus will drop riders at the corner of East Main and North Jackson streets.

South Grand Halloween Art Walk at Ritz Park – 10/30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • This free event features 15 local businesses that support local artists! The South Grand Art Walk encourages visitors to stop at participating businesses to view the art exhibits and meet over 20 local artists. Registration will be in the Ritz Park, located at 3147 S. Grand Blvd. Here you will receive your free bracelet for prizes, snacks on the Art Walk, and a map of all the participating South Grand Art Walk locations. Also, in the Ritz Park live music featuring Steve Ewing!

  • Louis’ most legendary Halloween street party returns to the Central West End on Saturday, October 30! Festivities kick off with fun daytime activities for the whole family. Then, as the sun sets, the party continues with an adults-only bash and costume contest, known for its elaborate, complex, and outrageous costumes and featuring $6,000 in cash and prizes.

Masks Are Required on Metro Transit

Per a federal mandate from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), masks are required while riding MetroBus, MetroLink and Metro Call-A-Ride, and while at MetroLink stations and Metro Transit Centers.
